Porter Company Recruitment Rally 2026: Official Details
The Government of India, Ministry of Defence (Army), has announced a major recruitment drive for 600 Porter positions. This rally is being conducted for the 275 Porter Company at Uri, District Baramulla, and is open to eligible candidates from all districts across Jammu and Kashmir.

- Reporting Deadline: 10:00 AM (No entries permitted thereafter)
Eligibility Requirements
- Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.
- Age: Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years of age.
- Medical Status: Must be medically fit; a certificate from a Civil Government Hospital is required.
- Residency: Open to candidates from all districts of Jammu & Kashmir.
Required Documentation
Candidates must report to the venue with the following documents (Originals + 5 attested copies):
- Application: Duly filled with 6 passport-size and 2 stamp-size photos.
- Identity Proofs: Aadhaar Card, Voter Identity Card, and Ration Card (all attested by Sarpanch).
- Certificates:
- Next of Kin Certificate (attested by Sarpanch).
- Character Certificate (signed by Sarpanch or Numberdar).
- Police Verification Form (duly signed by authorities).
- Official Medical Certificate (from a Civil Government Hospital).
- Financial: NEFT Mandate Form (signed by bank authority).

Venue: Kala Pahar Ground, Uri, District Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir.
Unit: 275 Porter Company, under the authority of HQ 161 Infantry Brigade.
