JKSSB Announces Recruitment for 194 Vacancies in Agriculture and Finance Departments
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued Advertisement Notification No. 03 of 2026, inviting online applications for 194 Divisional and District Cadre posts. The recruitment drive aims to fill vacancies primarily in the Agriculture Production Department and the Finance Department.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Domicile & Age
Candidates must be residents of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid Domicile Certificate issued on or before the cut-off date of 19.05.2026.
The age limit (as of 01.01.2026) is as follows:
- Open Merit (OM): 40 years.
- SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/EWS/OBC: 43 years.
- Physically Challenged: 42 years.
- Ex-Servicemen: 48 years.
2. Selection Process
Selection for these posts will be based strictly on the merit obtained in a written/OMR-based examination only.
- The exam will consist of Objective Type, Multiple Choice Questions in English.
- Negative marking of 0.25 (one-fourth) will apply for each wrong answer.
Important Guidelines for Candidates
- Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates must produce original documents (educational, category, domicile, etc.) during DV. Any discrepancy or failure to provide valid documents by the cut-off date will lead to immediate cancellation of candidature.
- Scribe Facility: Candidates with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) can avail of a scribe and/or 20 minutes of compensatory time per hour, provided they submit the required certificates (Annexure-B and C).
- Multiple Applications: If a candidate submits more than one application for the same item number, only the latest application will be considered.
- In-Service Candidates: These applicants must submit their forms through the proper channel (Head of Department).
