​1. Constable (Technical & Tradesmen)

  • ​Trades: Driver, Motor Mechanic Vehicle, Cobbler, Carpenter, Tailor, Brass Band, Pipe Band, Bugler, Gardener, Painter, Cook/Water Carrier, Washerman, Barber, and Safai Karamchari.

​2. Constable (Pioneer Wing)

​Total Vacancies: 20 (Male Only).

  • ​Mason: 13.
  • ​Electrician: 7.

​Eligibility Criteria

​Age Limit (as of 01/01/2026)

  • ​Constable (Driver): 21 to 27 years (Born between 02/01/1999 and 01/01/2005).
  • ​Other Trades & Pioneer: 18 to 23 years (Born between 02/01/2003 and 01/01/2008).
  • ​Relaxations: SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and Ex-Servicemen are eligible for age relaxation as per government rules.

​Educational & Technical Qualifications

  • ​Driver: Matriculation or equivalent; must possess a Heavy Transport Vehicle Driving License.
  • ​MMV (Mechanic Motor Vehicle): 10th pass (10+2 system) and 2 years ITI certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle or relevant apprenticeship.
  • ​Other Trades: Matriculation or equivalent; must be proficient in the respective trade.
  • ​Pioneer Wing: Matriculation and 1 year experience in Masonry or Electrical work.

​Selection Process

​The selection process involves multiple stages:

  1. ​Computer Based Test (CBT): 100 objective questions (2 hours) covering General Intelligence, Knowledge, Mathematics, and English/Hindi.
  1. ​Physical Standards Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
  1. ​Trade Test: Practical test in the applied trade.
  1. ​Document Verification.
  1. ​Medical Examination (DME/RME).

​Note: There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer in the CBT.

  • ​General, EWS, and OBC (Male): Rs. 100/-.
  • ​SC, ST, Female (all categories), and Ex-Servicemen: Exempted from fee.
