JKSSB Announces 508 Vacancies for Junior Engineer (Civil) Posts in Public Works & Jal Shakti Departments

The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released Advertisement Notification No. 03 of 2025 for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (Civil) posts in the Public Works (R&B) Department and the Jal Shakti Department. A total of 508 vacancies have been announced, inviting online applications from eligible candidates.

Eligibility and Application Details

Domicile Requirement
Applicants must be domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and should possess a valid domicile certificate issued by the Competent Authority. The certificate must be in the prescribed format and submitted on or before June 3, 2025.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025)
The age criteria vary based on the category. Highlights include:
- OM Category: Maximum age 40 years (Not born before 01.01.1985)
- Reserved Categories (SC, ST, RBA, etc.): Maximum age 43 years
- Physically Challenged Persons: Maximum age 42 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Maximum age 48 years
The age cut-off ensures that candidates born after January 1, 2007, are not eligible.
