Professors/Associate Professors on Academic Arrangement basis, initially for a period of one year, extendable up to a maximum of six years (one year at a time and subject to performance and good conduct) or till the selection/promotion is made on regular basis in accordance with rules
of recruitment governing the respective posts by the PSC/DPC whichever is earlier, in the below mentioned disciplines in Govt. Medical ollege

The selected candidates shall execute an agreement that he/she will not leave the department before the completion of at least one year contract. The selected candidates will submit an affidavit at the time of joining that he/she is not on the rolls of any other medical college/institution of the country as required by NMC/DCI regulations. In addition, the candidates are deemed to be relieved in case any permanent faculty member recommended by JKPSC/DPC joins on the same post.
